How to Promote Self Love

Growth is so beautiful! As we mature and our bodies, as well as, our mindsets change, we must continue to love ourselves. Where are you on yourself love journey? How much time do you currently devote to loving yourself and rejuvenating your energy? Are you able to look in the mirror and affirm how beautiful you are? As humans we need to make sure we are physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually having our needs met. If you are struggling, keep reading for self-love promoting ideas. We must learn to know our bodies, accept them, and not feel ashamed.

The number one option, which is the most popular is pampering. What pampering is to one person, may not be the same to another. Find your true pampering tools and techniques.


This may include:

  • Pedicures

  • Facials

  • Manicures

  • Body pampering

  • Hair maintenance

  • Taking a day off

  • Going out for dinner

  • Visiting family or friends

  • Dancing


If you are busy in your day-to-day life, you may need to schedule this pampering time. The best way would be to schedule around a pay day and listing as a mandatory task. Make yourself a priority!

Another way to promote self-love is to use affirmations or guided meditations. By using affirmations and meditations, you allow your mindset to shift into what you would like to accomplish or become. These repetitive statements when invoked in a relaxed state can help you achieve more self-love. Utilize the affirmations by writing, listening, or speaking out loud. It can be used to build confidence, self-love, or even wealth.


Lastly, the final technique I recommend for promoting self-love is to remove negativity from your life. If you find yourself surrounded by a person or people that are not allowing you to grow, not supportive, and do not connect with your future dreams, then start making plans to migrate away.

You should surround yourself with people that support your endeavors and want you to do great in life. Not everyone can see your future vision, however, that also may mean they are not meant to be in that chapter of your life. If you find yourself in a stressful environment, it can also take a toll on you physically.



Love yourself enough to want the best out of life.

Start the process to engage in more positive environments with more positive upbeat people.
