Finding Inspiration

Where does inspiration come from? Do you feel inspired in your daily life? Sometimes when we have hit rock bottom, inspiration is needed to motivate and generate creativity. Let’s discuss some tips for finding inspiration in our current climate….

From childhood to adulthood, we are consistently looking for inspiration for motivation and growth. As we evolve, so does our need to be inspired and you may slowly outgrow past mentors or guides. This is normal and should be welcomed! At times our main inspiration may be a celebrity, elder, boss, or coworker. As you navigate different chapters of your life, people you connect with may share the same aspects as yourself, which is why you feel a connection. Walking a similar childhood path or career journey, will you to connect more deeply to mentors and inspire you to keep going.

Popular celebrities for inspiration may be Oprah, Former President Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Warren Buffet, or even characters such as Professor Dumbledore. Always take a path that you resonate with that will allow you to achieve even more.

Another way to find inspiration will be to completely follow your intuition. It will never steer you wrong and always lead you to your true authentic purpose. Intuition may be the little voice in your head, the goosebumps you feel when planning, or the warm feeling in your chest when you find something you love. Your intuition will guide and provide messages with every step you take. You can connect more to your inner self by meditating.

Finding a quiet moment to breathe deeply and clear your mind will help you to listen more clearly and provide more clarity.

My final suggestion to find inspiration would be to create a vision board. This is something celebrities, like Oprah and Steve Harvey swear by to manifest all desires and dreams. Before beginning your vision board, take the time to establish short- or long-term goals and future aspirations. Once you can decipher where to begin, it is easier to map out your future. Take magazine printouts, online articles, pictures, numbers, and charms to adhere to your board. Be creative and bold, while allowing this board to inspire and motivate you to complete these goals. Pinterest is a great website to find additional inspirations on vision boards.

With so many options in the world for inspiration, do not allow past trauma or low self confidence to hinder growth and development. All your desires and aspirations are waiting to be seized. Seize the opportunities and manifest even deeper!
