I have one simple question. Are you happy? Are you genuinely happy with this chapter of your life? When you go to sleep, what is the last thing you think about? Also, in the morning what is the first thing that comes to mind? Are you stressed? Bitter? Uncomfortable? These are simple questions, but a fantastic opportunity for honesty and truth. If you are consistently finding bitterness and sadness in your everyday life, let us have a conversation about finding your happiness…

True happiness and love are unconditional. Do you know what your soul truly needs to be happy? The first tip I have is to seek out those joyous moments. This may come by volunteering, teaching, mentoring, meditating, or working out. Any activity that brings you joy, seek it out to elevate and bring more joy into your life.
"Are you constantly looking at others wanting to emulate or feel their happiness? Are you seeing something in your partner or significant other that you would like to embody? What is it that you are seeing in others that you would like to awaken in yourself?"
Whether you are a teacher, doctor, or nurse knowing what you are calling is also helps to bring in joyous moments. Also look towards things that feed your soul and make you happy. You need more of those moments, which will identity what you’re true calling may be.
If you are working a 9-5 that is not serving you, just know that it isn’t going to get any easier if you’re not truly happy. It’s a cycle that must be broken! Until you break the cycle and realize there is more opportunities out there for you, then you will continue to keep yourself in this box. Start the process of being mindful of your surroundings and realizing what brings you enjoy! You are meant to evolve and grow!
The next option would be to try something new! If you have been in this constant cycle of feeling sad, depressed, and stagnant, get out of your comfort zone. Try a different restaurant, gym, grocery store, clothing store, or parking space. You need to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. This is going to change your mindset and how you look at things. There is so many diverse types of people, opportunities, personalities, and cultures in the world, so do not allow yourself to wilt away and not take a chance.

My last tip if you are still in the dark about your happiness, I recommend writing out a brief list of aspirations and goals. In my coaching world, I am a huge advocate of writing things out to understand your present chapter. Once you understand where you are in your present life, you can start the journey to your next chapter.
What do you aspire to be and accomplish? Get excited and raise your vibration! Where do you see yourself in the long term or short term? Understand your present versus your future.
